Getting in
Get vouched for. A Trusted member gives you an invite, a link or code good for 7 days, or vouches for you right from a chat with you. Vouching is serious: if you're later removed for abuse, the member who vouched for you is removed with you. So it usually follows a conversation, not a cold ask.
You're Eligible. Someone vouched for you, and the Gate is open to you: record 3 short clips in the app, gestures it picks for you one at a time, one always a slow head turn. There's no deadline: your vouch stands until you send them. Until then everything works as it did when you were Anonymous, but members see you as Eligible, so they know someone already vouched for you.
You're Pending. Your clips are in, and you see the whole map and everyone on it, and you can message Anonymous users. There's no deadline here either: your vouch stands until a member vets you.
Get vetted. A Trusted member near you, not the one who vouched for you, watches your clips beside your photos and checks it's really you, live, and clearly an adult. Then you're Trusted and everything opens up: statuses, check-ins, talking to anyone, and in time inviting and vetting others yourself.
Your clips are seen only by the member reviewing them, carry that member's name as a watermark, can't be downloaded, and are deleted the moment they decide.
A complete profile gets you vetted faster, and "Ask to be vetted now" on the Gate lets members nearby know, once an hour.
