Cruising Etiquette
While cruising, remember it is important to have regards for others.
- It is never appropriate to physically touch another guy if you are not absolutely sure he is interested. Cues must always be used first.
- Never assume a guy is automatically interested in you just because he is cruising.
- It can be easy to not recognize or misread a cue. In uncertain situations it is best to not pursue any further.
- If a guy shakes his head, says no, frowns at you, or does not reciprocate your signals, it means he is not interested. Do not continue to pursue him.
- Do not persistently follow a guy around unless he has signaled you to.
- Avoid being obvious when cruising. Do not repeatedly enter and exit a bathroom or public vicinity. Do not stay in these areas for extended amounts of time.
- If two guys are already playing; you can signal your interest but do not stay and watch if you are not invited to join.
- Avoid playing in plain view or any area where bystanders, families, or children can see you.
- Never take pictures or record video of another person without their permission.
