Meeting up
Tell one person where you are going and who you are meeting. A handle and a screenshot of the profile is enough.
Plan it with Meet. Going to someone, you see whether their phone is really at the place before you set off, and Tell a friend sends one person a private link with the time and the place, and a check-in for when you're fine.
Meet somewhere public first, even for ten minutes. A spot on the map, a bar, a park. If it feels off, it is off. Leave.
Keep your own way home. Your own car, a ride you call, a route you know. Do not hand over your keys or your phone.
Share a location in chat only when you mean to. The app shows your block, never your door, unless you send it yourself.
Drink what you poured or opened. Keep it with you.
